Nine Reasons to Stop Using Fluoride
(and get a fluoride water filter):

Reason to avoid fluoride #1: Fluoride is a drug.

Fluoride is a medicine and you are swallowing it if it's in your
water! If you live in America, there's a 70% chance you're being
medicated with fluoride, since 70% of the water supply is
fluoridated. This is mass medication! Fluoride is a drug. Go
ahead and ask your doctor or pharmacist. Fluoride is a medical
treatment for your teeth, and swallowing it does not help your
teeth.

  • Fluoride is a medication? Yes, by definition, a medication
    is a substance used for medical treatment. By adding a
    substance to drinking water (fluoride) to prevent a disease
    (tooth decay). You have been prescribed a "medicine."

  • Fluorine, a chemical gas, is an ingredient in Prozac and
    Paxil.

Reason to avoid fluoride #2: Fluoride will lower your IQ.

Studies show a lowered IQ in children who drink fluoridated
water.
Harvard reports an impact on the neurological development in
children and found fluoride may adversely affect children's
cognitive development.

Reason to avoid fluoride #3: Fluoride is dangerous, says EPA.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) admits fluoride
is dangerous!
Like other drugs, fluoride has side effects, which may include
rash; stomach upset, diarrhea and vomiting; seizures and
tremors; along with staining of teeth. Fluoride has many
"harmful effects" and the EPA knows it. The EPA established a
maximum allowable concentration for fluoride in drinking water
of 4 milligrams per litre in 1986.  The guideline was designed to
prevent the public from being exposed to harmful levels of
fluoride. By 2011 the EPA recommend just 0.7 milligrams of
fluoride per liter of water "to balance the benefits of preventing
tooth decay while limiting any unwanted health effects." The
EPA knows fluoride is toxic and can cause gastrointestinal
symptoms, even death! Harmful effects include the following:

  1. Fluoride interferes with thyroid function. Fluoride competes
    with iodine and has been associated with difficulties in
    thyroid production. In interfering with the thyroid function,
    fluoride affects the endocrine system and leads to obesity

    Dr. Mark Hyman says you can help avoid thyroid problems
    by avoiding fluoride in your toothpaste and water.

Reason to avoid fluoride #4: Fluoride is a poison.
A poison is a substance capable of causing the illness or death
of a living organism when absorbed into the body; and any
chemical whose purpose is to kill a life form must be considered
a poison. Fluoride is a poison that's just slightly less toxic than
arsenic, but much more poisonous than lead. Fluoride is such a
poison and here is the proof:
  • Fluoride is a hazardous waste byproduct of the fertilizer
    industry. The fertilizer industry is dumping their waste into
    your water supply. You see, the fertilizer industry had a
    waste product of the phosphate on their hands. They were
    clever and turned their waste disposal problem into a profit
    scheme. Now they get to dump their waste into our waters
    and we pay for it as a consumer. Here's a succinct
    explanation about the fluoride deception and the
    phosphate mining industry' scam on humanity.

  • Sodium Fluoride is an insecticide. Fluoride is the active
    ingredient in many pesticides and insecticides. It's a
    poison! Would you brush your teeth with rat poison?

  • Sodium Fluoride is the active ingredient in rodenticides,
    too. That's right, fluoride kills rodents. Sodium fluoride is
    the most toxic, and calcium fluoride the least toxic. If your
    child eats that whole tube of fluoride  toothpaste, they're
    as good as gone, which is why there is a poison warning on
    the toothpaste.

  • Fluoride toothpaste has "poison" warnings. Check your
    toothpaste and see. The active ingredient is Sodium
    monofluorophosphate. Unless it's fluoride-free, there is a
    "poison control" warning as required by lawon all fluoride
    toothpaste. Toothpaste manufacturers like Colgate advise
    to "Get medical help or contact Poison Control Center right
    away" if you accidentally swallow the toothpaste. It's right
    there on the label: a hazardous phosphate is the active
    ingredient of fluoride toothpaste.

  • Aluminum fluoride is a poision in non-organic grapes,
    raisins and wine. Grapes and wine have a chemical known
    as Cryolite, which is a pesticide. Cyroliie is an aluminum
    fluoride produced from the mineral fluorite. (Don't get us
    started on the dangers of aluminum.)

Who's poisoning water?
Municipalities are allowing fluoride into the water. Big chemical
companies are poisoning your tap water, as well as local gas
stations and dry cleaners effectively poison the water by
polluting our environment. Also, it's the products we use
everyday, including prescription drugs, (antibiotics in particular),
and cosmetics such as sunscreen all contribute to the water
contamination. Tap water may contain lead, arsenic, nitrates,
sulfates, radon, Hexavalent Chromium, Atrazine and other
chemicals and other contaminants, in addition to fluoride.

Having fluoride both in your water and our toothpaste may
increase the levels of arsenic. Don't ingest it. Don't put it on
your skin or teeth. Dump the poison. Try alternatives to
traditional toothpaste, including baking soda. Activated
Charcoal Tooth Powder, which is fluoride free and is totally
organic.

Reason to avoid fluoride #5: Fluoride is a dangerous
neurotoxin.

Neurotoxins, like fluoride or lead, adversely affect function in
nervous tissue.
There has been much speculation that fluoride was used to calm
prisoners of concentration camps by Hitler.

Fluoride also reduces learning and memory. Fluoride also causes
calcification of thepineal gland (the gland in the middle of your
brain that is also known as the "third eye.")  The pineal gland
produces melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of
wake and sleep. Fluoride causes sleep disorders through
melatonin disruption of the pineal gland.


Reason to avoid fluoride #6: Fluoride causes Dental Fluorosis.

Fluoride discolors teeth. It's not just a cosmetic change.
The EPA "reached an understanding of the latest science on
fluoride and its effect on tooth decay prevention and the
development of dental fluorosis."Excessive fluoride can create
chalky white, irregular patches on the surface of teeth, which
makes the enamel appear mottled.

Dental Fluorosis is a dramatic change in the appearance of the
tooth's enamel.  Over time, fluoride accumulates bones and this
makes them brittle and prone to fracture!  Fluorosis is a
condition of mottlling and calcification of teeth. The Centers for
Disease Control (CDC) says, "Only children aged 8 years and
younger can develop dental fluorosis because this is when
permanent teeth are developing under the gums." The truth is
that 40% of American teens have dental fluorosis!

On the topic of decreased bone mineral density, fluoride causes
spinal deformities and increased hip fracture tendency and
osteoporosis as well.Annd this is a direct result of loss of bone
density.

  • Source: Web MD defines Fluorosis as "a cosmetic condition
    that affects the teeth."  WebMD admits that a "prevalence
    of fluorosis in children ages 12 to 15 has increased," since
    the 1980s. Read the shocking admission for yourself:


    Web MD also admits that in early 2011, that the Health
    and Human Services Department lowered it's
    recommendations of fluoride levels in the tap water.


Reason to avoid fluoride #7: Fluoride is an endocrine
disruptor.

Most commercial brands of toothpaste and mouthwash
come, which have fluoride in them, come with a whole host
of side effects. Fluoride is an endocrine disruptor. An endocrine
disruptor affects your bones, brain, pineal gland and blood
sugar levels. There's proof fluoride is responsible for
developmental neurotoxicity (lowered IQ scores of children with
high levels of fluoridation). As well there are concerns of bone
cancer, and premature births.


Reason to avoid fluoride #8:  Fluoride dosage is unknown.
There is no dosage amount recommend for fluoride.  If you want
to know how much fluoride is your water, then you have to
contact the local water supplier to determine the fluoride level.
What's more, there are many beverages and foods processed
with fluoridated water.

You may be getting an overdose of fluoride.
You'll find fluoride lurking in places you didn't expect: your food
and drinks. Fluoride in the water supply means that your some
foods and drinks have fluoride, including many brands fruit
juices, soft drinks, and as previously mentioned, wine. These
foods and drinks contain fluoride at levels similar to fluoridated
water because they are made with fluoridated water. You'll also
find fluoride in baby food, and other dental treatments such as
mouth rinses and dental floss.

Reason to avoid fluoride #9: Most developed countries don't
fluoridate their water.

The U.S. is one of the only countries to fluoridate!
Fluoride has already been banned in countries like Germany,
China, Austria, France, Finland, Belgium, and Denmark. It
makes you wonder. Most advanced nations do NOT fluoridate
their water. Many countries already have banned fluoride from
their water supply, in particular two Scandinavian countries have
banned fluoride from their water: Sweden and Denmark.

  • Sweden. Sweden rejected a fluoridated water supply in the
    1970s. There is no higher tooth decay in Sweden than any
    where else. Sweden concluded that there are better ways
    of reducing tooth decay than water fluoridation.


Thankfully, some municipalities have opted out of fluoride:

available in toothpastes, dental rinses, and mouthwashes. Why
add it to water?

Don't drink yourself to death with Fluoride in your Water!

Brave San Diego dentist speaks out against fluoride! Dr.
Kennedy, Past President of International Academy of Oral
Medicine and Toxicology, is an internationally recognized
lecturer on toxicology and restorative dentistry. His Web site
explains why fluoride has been scientifically proven to be
harmful, including being a cause for dental fluorosis, hip
fractures, and bone cancer, among many other concerns for
people who have kidney problems or are deficient in certain
vitamins.In summary there are four main arguments against
water fluoridation.

How can you get safe drinking water? 70% of Americans having
been drinking fluoridated water, since it started flowing in the
water supply in 1950.

If you love your teeth, do these things:

  • Step one: Use a fluoride-free toothpaste (poison free).
    Nowadays it's hard to find fluoride free toothpaste.

  • Toms of Maine, which used to be the only fluoride-free
    toothpaste available, has been purchased by Colgate
    who put the fluoride back into most of their products.
    Be careful and look specifically for fluoride free, even
    when you buy Tom's of Maine.
  • Tooth Rx, pictured immediate left, is an all-natural
    remedy with anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-fungal
    and anti-inflammatory with powerful plaque fighting
    agents. Of course it is fluoride free!

  • Step two: Don't share drinks with someone who has tooth
    decay! Mothers should never share drinks with their kids.

  • Step three: Get the right kind of bottled water. Some
    bottled waters contain fluoride, and some do not. Learn
    about which water has fluoride, so you know what to avoid.

  • Step four: Test your water. Approximately 70% of the
    water supply is contaminated with fluoride in America. It's
    easy to obtain inexpensive water tests to see if you've got
    fluoride and other contaminants in your water. HazMat

    against chlorine, too! Fluoride isn't your only thing to
    worry about in municipal water supplies. Chlorine
    destroys intestinal flora that a body needs for good
    digestion. When the time comes; however, you may
    have to use a non-scented chlorine bleach to purify
    your water for consumption in a post apocalyptic
    world. However, to eliminate the chlorine, you can
    bring your water to boil and let it cool over night
    before consuming.  Good options to fluoride!

  • There are alteratives to fluoride as a toothpaste ingredient

  • Calcium supplements, such as antacids, makes it more
    difficult for your body to absorb fluoride. If you feel you've
    been overdosed, such as after visiting the Dentist, you
    may consider taking calcium supplements.

The apparent goal of fluoride is to kill the bacteria in your
mouth. Well, if it's killing the bacteria in your mouth, then isn't
it also slowly killing you? Yes, it is! Put down that glass of
fluoridated water! Throw away your fluoride toothpaste! Fluoride
is not beneficial: it's poisonous.
